Women's Special Edition Glacier Flannel

Regular price $439.00

The Glacier Flannel began with a simple idea: take one of the most trusted pieces in mountain life and reimagine it in our signature performance cashmere.

The Special Edition adds a 2-tone yoke along with the hand embroidered back artistry to our best-selling Glacier Flannel you know and love. Bright side stripes, button front, shirt collar, and our longest in length - always in our performance cashmere.

  • All the details of the original Glacier Flannel: yoke, stripes, hand embroidered saying "SKI POWDER, laugh louder"
  • Every detail of the Glacier Flannel is intentional. We chose the length, the elbow patches and to hand embroider the phrase on the back because it felt more authentic—less graphic, more crafted. The result is a timeless detail that feels as though it has always belonged there. Truly limited run.

Why Performance Cashmere

Traditional cashmere is soft, but it is often treated like something too delicate for real life. Alpine Revival blends Mongolian cashmere with elastane so the knit stretches, holds its shape, and wears harder without losing the softness that makes cashmere worth reaching for.

Care

Treat it well and it will last for years. That's the whole point.
When it needs washing, we recommend gently by hand in lukewarm water with mild detergent, no wringing.
If you trust your water temps, you can machine wash cool on the delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry. No warm water. No dryer. Ever.

Fit & Sizing

Relaxed fit.

Same fit as the original Glacier Flannel. True to size. If you plan to layer over a mid layer, size up. Falls at or just below the hip. The button front works open as a layer or closed as a standalone piece.

Craftsmanship

The Special Edition Glacier Flannel starts with the same linked construction as the original: front and back yoke panels knit and linked separately, stripe panels knit independently and linked in down the sides. The Special Edition adds an additional layer of hand embroidered artistry on the back beyond the Ski Powder Laugh Louder saying. Every element of the back design is stitched by hand after the piece is complete. This takes significantly longer per piece, which is why the run is smaller and the price reflects it. No two are exactly alike.

Cashmere built for the life you live.

Built for adventure

Made for the life you live.

Alpine Revival pieces are made in small batches with performance cashmere yarn, linked construction, thoughtful fit details, and finishing touches that take more time because they are worth it. It is not fragile fashion cashmere. It is a piece designed to be worn hard, cared for simply, and reached for season after season.

Stretches, no holes

Elastane woven into every stitch gives the knit flexibility and recovery. It stretches on the chairlift and comes back to shape at dinner.

Skis all day. Smells like nothing.

Cashmere is naturally antibacterial. No petroleum fibers means no trapped odor. Wear it twice before you think about washing it.

Details you keep discovering.

The cowl that covers your nose on a cold chairlift. The elbow patch that is actually structural.

Built by someone who experienced it and knew could do better.

AJ Cargill has spent her life on the mountain: world champion free skier, 21 year Jackson Hole ski patroller, personal trainer, retail buyer, and lifelong student of what works in alpine environments.

She did not design Alpine Revival from a mood board. She designed it from chairlifts, patrol routes, ski town mornings, cold hands, hard falls, and decades of knowing what people actually reach for when the shell comes off.
