Women's Glacier Flannel

Regular price $439.00

The Alpine Revival flannel, elevated above basic. Truly one of our best sellers, and once you feel it, you'll know why.

Performance cashmere with a button front design, like a flannel shirt. Front and back yoke offer aditional warmth, and bright stripes down the sides shows your playful side. Ski Powder Laugh Louder is hand embroidered rather than knitted into the garment because we wanted it to feel personal, intentional, and enduring.

  • The subtle texture of the embroidery adds character and craftsmanship, creating a detail that feels discovered rather than declared.
  • It's a small touch, but one that reflects our belief that the most meaningful pieces are often defined by the details. Soft enough for mornings, sharp enough for dinner.

Why Performance Cashmere

Traditional cashmere is soft, but it is often treated like something too delicate for real life. Alpine Revival blends Mongolian cashmere with elastane so the knit stretches, holds its shape, and wears harder without losing the softness that makes cashmere worth reaching for.

Care

Treat it well and it will last for years. That's the whole point. When it needs washing, we recommend gently by hand in lukewarm water with mild detergent, no wringing.
If you trust your water temps, you can machine wash cool on the delicate cycle. Lay flat to dry. No warm water. No dryer. Ever.

Fit & Sizing

The Glacier Flannel is ours.

Inspired by the mountain shirts and wool layers that filled ski towns decades ago, we set out to create something that carried the same spirit while feeling unmistakably modern. The result is a flannel unlike any you've worn before—crafted from our signature performance cashmere blend and finished with hand-embroidered details that feel earned, not manufactured.

Throw it over a tee in July. Layer it under a shell in January. Wear it to the lodge, the airport, or wherever the day takes you.

Like the best stories, it only gets better with age.

Craftsmanship

The Glacier Flannel is produced in a small batch run using linked construction. The front and back yoke panels are knit separately and linked onto the body stitch by stitch. The bright stripe panels running down the sides are knit independently and linked in, not cut from a striped fabric and sewn. The words Ski Powder Laugh Louder on the back are hand embroidered after the piece is finished. We tried machine embroidery. It looked wrong. So every letter is stitched by hand, which means each piece takes longer and no two are exactly identical. Small batch production means fewer than 100 of each colorway are made per run.

Cashmere built for the life you live.

Built for adventure

Made for the life you live.

Alpine Revival pieces are made in small batches with performance cashmere yarn, linked construction, thoughtful fit details, and finishing touches that take more time because they are worth it. It is not fragile fashion cashmere. It is a piece designed to be worn hard, cared for simply, and reached for season after season.

Stretch before it tears

Elastane woven into every stitch gives the knit flexibility and recovery. It stretches on the chairlift and comes back to shape at dinner.

Skis all day. Smells like nothing.

Cashmere is naturally antibacterial. No petroleum fibers means no trapped odor. Wear it twice before you think about washing it.

Details you keep discovering.

The cowl that covers your nose on a cold chairlift. The elbow patch that is actually structural.

Built by someone who experienced it and knew could do better.

AJ Cargill has spent her life on the mountain: world champion free skier, 21 year Jackson Hole ski patroller, personal trainer, retail buyer, and lifelong student of what works in alpine environments.

She did not design Alpine Revival from a mood board. She designed it from chairlifts, patrol routes, ski town mornings, cold hands, hard falls, and decades of knowing what people actually reach for when the shell comes off.
